The Square of Salakos Village
Salakos is a charmy village on the slopes of Mt. Profitis Ilias. The scenery around the village is not the usual Rhodian postcard views - its located on thickly pine-covered slopes and rich vegetation. The rich nature can be partially explained by the natural spring "Nymph" which is located in the village. The village has a beautiful square and it is a great place to escape the crowds even in high season of summer.
Drink Greek Coffee at Mevlana Café
Mevlana is the oldest café in Rhodes and is located on one of the main streets of the Medieval Town - the building is from 14th century and the café itself was founded 200 years ago during the Ottoman era. The Ottoman atmosphere can still be strongly sensed. The café is a great spot to live the history of Rhodes.

Kafenio is a significant Greek institution and integral part of Greek culture.. Kafenio is primarily a haven for social life but it also serves coffee, beverages and mezes. In the village of Pastida you will find the 'Kafenio tis Ariadnis' named after lovely Ariadni who will greet and feed you if necessary. The mezes here are delicious.
